Project Summary:

We managed the urgent structural stabilisation and refurbishment of a cantilevered first-floor bay window at a Grade II listed property.
The works, administered under a JCT Minor Works Building Contract, were required to address structural instability within the existing timber bay. The project involved the installation of new galvanised steel structural beams, the reconstruction of the timber frame, and the incorporation of thermal upgrades.
Great care was taken to preserve the building’s heritage. We used specialist Roman stucco to match existing profiles and restored the original cast iron brackets. The result protected the bay’s structure while maintaining the historic façade.
