Project Summary:

We were instructed to undertake a detailed inspection of the pitched roofs across the estate. The survey combined a comprehensive external assessment using drone technology with internal inspections of the roof voids. Our investigation found the concrete tiled roof coverings to be in a generally deteriorated condition, showing widespread defects including loss of surface finish, numerous broken and misaligned tiles, and damaged sarking felt. Although some localised repairs were evident, the overall condition of the roofs indicates that they are nearing the end of their functional life. Based on these findings, we recommended a phased roof replacement programme to address the deterioration and prevent future water ingress.
