Project Summary:

Appointed as the agreed party wall surveyor for a residential renovation project. The works involved combining two flats into a single dwelling, with structural alterations including roof modifications, the removal of a fire escape, and the installation of a heat pump and solar panels. Excavation for new foundations also triggered party wall procedures under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.

Managed the process from serving notices through to issuing a Party Wall Award. Prepared a Schedule of Condition for the adjoining property, reviewed construction plans, and specified protective measures to safeguard neighbouring structures.
