On Thursday, January 18th, Focus Consulting attended the BHASVIC Futures Fair. As chartered building surveyors, we played a pivotal role in guiding students exploring opportunities in the property and construction industry.
Our participation in the fair allowed us to share our wealth of expertise with a diverse audience. The Student Services team meticulously organised the event, which featured over 120 exhibitors. These included universities, training institutions, and apprenticeship providers. We showcased our extensive portfolio, ranging from historic landmarks to cutting-edge eco-homes. In doing so, we provided a tangible representation of our commitment to excellence.
To engage with the students, Tony Hulejczuk (Director) and Will Fasano (Assistant Building Surveyor) managed the Focus Consulting stall. Alongside our informative displays, we aimed to provide valuable insights. Furthermore, we worked to foster interest in both the construction industry and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
Ultimately, participating in the BHASVIC Futures Fair was a gratifying experience. We engaged with an enthusiastic group of students and found their knowledge of the industry truly impressive. The opportunity to share our experiences was fulfilling. Consequently, we extend our gratitude to BHASVIC for organising such a successful event. Our team remained approachable throughout the day and answered all student questions. We shared information regarding numerous career routes, including modern apprenticeships.
